A complete Lurssen of 2019
TIS was one of the largest yachts to debut across the whole 2019 season, delivered by Lurssen at 111 metres. She brought full giga-yacht amenities into a slightly more manageable length while losing none of the ambition. The build clearly showed the yard's ability to pack extraordinary capability into a beautifully resolved package. She drew genuinely wide attention on her very first public appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show. She proved conclusively that giga-yacht ambition need not always demand giga-yacht length.
Lurssen delivered TIS with the deep engineering that defines all of its largest projects. Her six full decks and near 4,700 GT place her among the most spacious yachts of her length. She stands as a strong and confident example of the yard's work at the turn of the decade. TIS is genuinely a flagship in every sense but the last few metres of length. Her sheer volume for the length places her among the roomiest of her whole class.
Winch Design inside and out
Winch Design was responsible for both the exterior and the interior of TIS, giving her a genuinely rare unity of vision. Her profile is elegant and thoroughly modern, carried over six full decks with a near 18.4-metre beam. Two full helipads sit ready and waiting for helicopter operations at the bow and on the upper deck. The overall silhouette is confident, poised and beautifully proportioned throughout. The single design hand gives her a rare and welcome sense of harmony.
Winch shaped generous open decks for sunbathing, dining and relaxation right across her length. The exterior flows cleanly and easily from bow to stern without interruption. Every single terrace was carefully placed to enjoy the sea and the light. TIS looks assured and settled at anchor and thoroughly purposeful under way. Guests move easily between the yacht's many and varied outdoor spaces.
A 111-metre Winch Design Lurssen built for long, self-sufficient seasons.
A resort-style interior
The interior by Winch Design centres firmly on wellbeing and everyday comfort. A resort-inspired spa and a full 12-metre swimming pool anchor the amenities, giving guests a genuine sense of retreat. Grand saloons and formal dining spaces run right through the guest decks. The finish is exactly what one would expect of a genuine top-tier Lurssen. The generous wellness spaces give her the settled feel of a private retreat.
TIS accommodates her guests across a series of exceptionally generous cabins with a large crew in support. Wellness spaces, a beach club and easy social areas complete the interior layout. Winch kept the interiors bright, elegant and genuinely welcoming throughout the yacht. Every material aboard was carefully chosen for its lasting quality. Every corner of the yacht plainly reflects the yard's exacting finish.
Range for the long season
TIS is powered by twin MTU 20V 4000 engines driving a large and stable displacement hull. She reaches a top speed of around 18 knots with a range of some 7,000 nautical miles at economical speed. That reach lets her follow the cruising seasons across the world without any real difficulty. The propulsion package was chosen for quiet and dependable service. Her range suits an owner who wants to follow the seasons entirely at will.
Zero-speed stabilisers keep her steady and comfortable both under way and at anchor. She readily carries the fuel and stores needed for long and self-sufficient passages. Her systems fully meet Lurssen's demanding standards for redundancy and reliability. TIS was built from the outset to cruise widely and in real comfort. She was engineered squarely to stay comfortable even far from the nearest port for weeks at a time.
For the owner who wants completeness at 111 metres
TIS suits an owner who wants full giga-yacht amenities packaged into a more agile hull. Her spa, pool and generous decks together support both deep relaxation and easy entertaining. She is ideal for extended family cruising across long and unhurried seasons. The yacht offers real grandeur at a length that remains genuinely flexible. She suits those who want serious scale without the constraints of the very largest yachts.
The rare unity of Winch Design inside and out gives her a coherence that many larger yachts plainly lack. She rewards an owner who values both design integrity and everyday comfort. TIS remains one of the most complete yachts of her size anywhere afloat. Her fine balance of scale and capability is genuinely hard to match. Her deep coherence of design remains, in the end, one of her strongest suits.
Who it is for: For the owner who wants full giga-yacht amenities and Winch Design coherence in a flexible 111-metre package.
