Founder: Edward George Dubois, born 18 April 1952 in Surrey, England; educated at Whitgift School and Southampton College of Technology (graduated 1974)

Founder: Bill Tripp (William H. Tripp III), naval architecture degree from the University of Michigan, 1976; founded Tripp Design Naval Architecture in 1984

Founder: Frank Mulder, Dutch naval architect; graduate of Haarlem University; production manager at Amels Shipyard from 1974, then ran Damen Group's high-speed vessel program, before opening his own studio in Amstelveen, Netherlands, in 1979 at age 28

Founder: Andre Hoek, Dutch naval architect, based in Edam, Netherlands since 1986; graduated in naval architecture in 1980, then a year at C&C Yachts (Canada) and six years as a salvage and heavy-lift engineer at ITC

Founders: James Claydon and Mike Reeves, British design studio founded 2010 (incorporated April 2010), based at Studio 4, Braxton Courtyard, Milford on Sea, near Lymington, Hampshire; Claydon: transport design training then Donald Starkey Designs (1999-2004) and Redman Whiteley Dixon (2004-2010); Reeves: architecture degree then car design at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, then a London yacht consultancy

Founded 1971 in Amstelveen, Netherlands, by naval architect Joost Beekman, marine engineer Cor van der Wiel and electrical engineer Kees Kolff; the name stood for the Dutch, Italian Association of Naval Architects
