Fertitta's Old Feadship Cuts Again, Down EUR 30m From Ask

How much has Boardwalk V's asking price fallen?
Boardwalk V is now asking EUR 135,000,000, a further EUR 14,000,000 cut that BOAT International confirmed on 17 September 2026, on top of the EUR 16,000,000 reduction it reported on 6 August. Since the original EUR 165,000,000 ask, the price has fallen EUR 30,000,000, or 18.2 percent.
Both cuts run through the same two brokerages marketing her jointly: Gary Wright and Max Bulley at Y.CO, and Christian Bakewell at Burgess. Neither firm has published a reason for either reduction, and BOAT International's coverage of both does not quote one. The size of the moves is the notable part: EUR 16,000,000 in August and EUR 14,000,000 in September is not a token adjustment either time, and doing it twice inside six weeks is unusual for a yacht this size, where asking prices typically move once a year at most, if at all.
On her 1,848 GT hull, EUR 135,000,000 works out to roughly EUR 73,050 per gross tonne, down from EUR 80,628 per GT after the first cut and EUR 89,286 per GT at the original ask. That is a rare thing in this market: two confirmed, dated price points on the same yacht inside two months, which gives a buyer's broker an actual negotiating benchmark rather than the single opaque number most listings ever publish.

Why is Fertitta selling the Feadship now?
Fertitta already has a replacement afloat: Lurssen delivered his 117-metre, 5,602 GT Boardwalk on 14 May 2026, more than three times the volume of the Feadship she replaces.
The new Boardwalk carries two helipads, a swimming pool and jacuzzi, a cinema, a spa, a gym and a putting green, with exterior styling by Frank Woll Design and interiors split between Amy Halffman, Suzanne Glover and Teresa Francis. Megayacht News reported 24 guests across 12 staterooms and a tender garage holding three custom Hodgdon tenders, an amphibious tender and off-road vehicles, with a crew widely reported at 48. She was one of six superyachts Lurssen delivered in the same twelve months, a run Marine Industry News put at 655 metres of combined hull length on 31 July 2026, a story this desk has already covered.
The build ran on a long calendar even by this yard's standard: Megayacht News covered her float-out on 5 December 2025, and Lurssen did not hand her over until 14 May 2026, roughly five months of sea trials and fitting out between the two events. Multiple outlets, including Luxurylaunches and PaperCity, put her build cost at around USD 450,000,000. The Feadship was renamed Boardwalk V from simply Boardwalk in February 2026, once this replacement was already under construction, and joined the brokerage market that September. More than a year on and through two price cuts, she has still not sold.

What does Boardwalk V actually offer at her new asking price?
Boardwalk V sleeps 14 guests across seven cabins behind a six-metre mosaic-tiled pool and hot tub, a beach and fitness club with a treatment room and sauna, and a forward tender garage built for two tenders under a certified helipad.
Feadship delivered her in 2021 in steel and aluminium, to naval architecture and exterior styling by De Voogt and interiors by Halffman Designs, with a top speed of 18.4 knots and a 15-knot cruise on a 12.3-metre beam and 3.8-metre draught. Six bars are spread through the boat, including a marble-topped bar with a built-in television on the lower deck. The owner's suite carries its own lounge area with fixed balconies on each side of the hull, a layout BOAT International's own listing description singles out among the seven cabins.
Both listing brokerages describe her as used only privately since delivery, with no charter wear and no charter history to account for. Y.CO and Burgess are marketing her jointly rather than one firm holding an exclusive, the same posture both used at the August price cut, which reads as a serious, ongoing push rather than a quiet test of demand.

Is Boardwalk V the only large yacht cutting its price at Monaco this year?
Boardwalk V is one of at least half a dozen yachts over 70 metres for sale in the same EUR 60 to 150 million band at Monaco Yacht Show 2026, from the 71.5-metre Vanish at EUR 148,000,000 down to the 61.9-metre Alchemist at EUR 64,000,000.
BOAT International's own show coverage lists the 74-metre Amels Synthesis at EUR 132,000,000, the 72.6-metre Lurssen Coral Ocean at EUR 99,000,000, the 78.4-metre Lurssen Rocinante at EUR 88,500,000 and the 74.5-metre Zeus at EUR 77,000,000 alongside Boardwalk V, all currently listed for sale at the same show. Synthesis returned to market this month at that price after her own refit, a story this desk covered on 17 September.
For a buyer, that is real choice inside one week in one port: six flagship-class yachts, most of them recently repriced, competing for the same pool of demand. It is also the context for Boardwalk V's own arithmetic. A seller with a newer, bigger yacht already delivered has less reason to hold a number the market has not met, and two cuts in six weeks looks less like a single owner's decision and more like where this whole size bracket is pricing itself down to right now. Added together, the seven asking prices at Monaco this month - Boardwalk V, Vanish, Synthesis, Coral Ocean, Rocinante, Zeus and Alchemist - come to roughly EUR 743,500,000 of flagship-class yacht sitting unsold in one port at once, a scale of simultaneous supply that helps explain why sellers are moving on price rather than waiting out the show.

Who is Tilman Fertitta, and why does this sale matter to him?
Fertitta is the Houston restaurateur who built Landry's and owns the NBA's Houston Rockets, and Boardwalk V is not his first yacht: Megayacht News records an earlier 164-foot Westport before he moved up to the Feadship class in 2021.
That progression, Westport to Feadship to Lurssen flagship, tracks a path plenty of owners at the top of this market follow, and it is why Boardwalk V's sale is being watched past its own price tag: it is the exit half of an upgrade that most owners never complete, because most never take delivery of the bigger boat before selling the smaller one. Fertitta has held both at once since May, which is itself the reason two Feadship price cuts have happened in six weeks rather than one considered number set before the new boat even arrived.
Fertitta became US Ambassador to Italy in 2025, a role BOAT International's own coverage has noted alongside his fleet without connecting the two. Nothing published ties the ambassadorial post to either yacht's price or timing, and this desk found no source that does. What is confirmed is simpler: a well-documented, privately used Feadship, twice repriced, sitting in a market with several comparable flagships for sale at once.
What is good, and what to watch
Strong points
- Two dated, confirmed price points on one yachtEUR 149,000,000 in August and EUR 135,000,000 in September gives a buyer's broker an actual recent negotiating benchmark, which this size of listing almost never publishes.
- Single-owner, no charter wearBoth Y.CO and Burgess describe her as used only privately since her 2021 delivery, with no charter history to discount against.
- A proven design pairing at a fraction of a new buildThe same Halffman interior team that finished Boardwalk V went on to work Fertitta's new 117-metre flagship, which multiple outlets put at roughly three times what Boardwalk V is now asking.
What to watch
- Two cuts and still no buyerA EUR 30,000,000 total reduction across six weeks without a sale suggests demand has not yet met even the lowered number, and nothing published says whether it is close.
- Neither cut comes with a stated reasonBOAT International's coverage of both reductions does not quote Y.CO, Burgess or Fertitta on why, leaving a buyer to guess whether more room exists to negotiate.
- She is competing against a crowded showAt least five other yachts over 70 metres are for sale in the same EUR 60 to 150 million band at Monaco Yacht Show 2026 this month, diluting any one buyer's urgency to move on Boardwalk V specifically.

Questions this story answers
What happened?
Tilman Fertitta has cut the asking price on his old 76.5-metre Feadship Boardwalk V for the second time in six weeks, down to EUR 135,000,000 and EUR 30,000,000 below where the listing started. The cut lands five months after Fertitta took delivery of her 117-metre Lurssen successor, giving a buyer a rare two-data-point look at what an owner will actually accept once a bigger flagship is already afloat.
What is good about it?
Two dated, confirmed price points on one yacht. EUR 149,000,000 in August and EUR 135,000,000 in September gives a buyer's broker an actual recent negotiating benchmark, which this size of listing almost never publishes.
What should an owner or buyer watch?
Two cuts and still no buyer. A EUR 30,000,000 total reduction across six weeks without a sale suggests demand has not yet met even the lowered number, and nothing published says whether it is close.
