Princess X90

The X90 is the newest X Class superyacht, a 27.1 metre super flybridge that debuts in 2026 and slots between the X80 and the flagship X95. It introduces an open-plan cockpit with folding balconies and an enclosed sky lounge. Twin MAN V12 engines give it easy cruising authority.

The new middle of the X Class

The X90 is the latest addition to the award-winning X Class, positioned between the X80 and the flagship X95. At 27.11 metres it debuts in 2026, with the first hull built and outfitted at Princess's Plymouth yard. It introduces the super flybridge concept in a fresh layout, including the first cockpit motor yacht in the class. Standard accommodation runs to three ensuite cabins, with an optional five-cabin layout for up to ten guests. Crew quarters for three keep the yacht running on longer voyages and looking after guests.

The X90 brings a new interpretation of the super flybridge idea to the range, one that opens the boat up to the sea. Its upper deck extends across nearly the whole length of the hull, adding a second full living level. The boat is pitched at owners who want the space of the class in a fresher, more flexible package. It fills an important gap between the entry X80 and the flagship. For buyers weighing those two boats, it offers the latest thinking in between.

An open-plan cockpit and folding balconies

The X90 is the first X Class boat built around an open-plan cockpit, separated from the dining area by curved glass doors and framed by an aft glass parapet with fold-down bulwarks. Folding balconies extend the deck out over the water for a close connection to the sea at anchor. An enclosed sky lounge above can be specified with a large television and offers panoramic views. The full-beam master suite on the main deck enjoys 180 degree views through wraparound glazing. It is a deck plan that blurs the line between inside and outside.

The exterior reads as a tall, glassy superyacht with clean, contemporary lines. Large windows carry daylight through both decks and into the accommodation. The flexible aft deck can be configured with a hot tub, a bar, a davit or open lounging space to suit the owner. Side decks and the foredeck give further room to relax. Detailing is refined across the yacht.

Flexible accommodation below

Below decks the X90 offers three ensuite cabins as standard, with an optional five-cabin layout sleeping up to ten guests. The full-beam master sits on the main deck with panoramic glazing, a rare feature at this size and a highlight of the boat. Crew quarters for three keep the yacht running on longer trips. A well-equipped galley supports extended cruising and entertaining for a full party. The flexible cabin count lets an owner match the boat to how they actually cruise.

Interiors use the current X Class palette of pale timbers, soft leathers and refined fittings. The super flybridge volume carries light and space through the whole yacht. Stowage is generous for weeks aboard, with wardrobes and lockers throughout. Separate crew access keeps service discreet. The main deck flows to the open cockpit for a strong link to the water.

MAN V12 authority

The X90 can be specified with twin MAN V12 engines in ratings up to 2,200 hp each, matched to a hull built for comfortable cruising. It settles into a calm, secure passage in open water. Handling is composed and reassuring at the helm, so longer legs pass in comfort. This is a superyacht tuned for relaxed distance running. The engine choice lets an owner balance pace against economy.

An 11,000 litre fuel tank gives the range for extended coastal and offshore cruising. Crew support makes longer passages straightforward and keeps the boat well run. Engine access supports routine maintenance. The V12s keep noise low across two full decks of accommodation. The X90 is built to voyage further in comfort.

Who the X90 is for

The X90 suits the owner who wants the newest X Class thinking, with an open cockpit, folding balconies and a flexible cabin count. It works for families and groups who cruise for weeks and want a close connection to the water at anchor. The optional five-cabin layout appeals to those who carry larger parties. Owners who value fresh design and the space of a super flybridge will find much to like.

It also draws buyers choosing between the X80 and X95 who want the latest features and the newest layout. The X90 is built to be run with crew on longer voyages. Its blend of space and sea connection makes it a distinctive superyacht at its size. For the owner who wants the most current super flybridge in the range, it is the boat to specify.
