The 134 Superyacht represents Sunseeker's push further into the large-yacht market. At 40.45 metres it is a tri-deck design, a size and configuration that takes the builder well beyond its sportscruiser roots. It was revealed as a new flagship concept at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, with two hulls already sold before construction began. Within the range it sits at the top, above the Ocean series. It gives the builder a genuine three-deck contender at a length its sportscruiser range never reached.

The model marks a jump in scale rather than a facelift. Where the 90 Ocean reimagined the mid-size superyacht, the 134 extends that volume-led thinking to a full three-deck platform. It is being built at Sunseeker's dedicated superyacht facility at Osprey Quay in Poole. For a yard best known for fast open boats, it is a clear signal of large-yacht ambition.

Three decks drawn in-house

The 134 was styled and engineered by Sunseeker's own team, with exterior design and naval architecture both handled in Dorset. Chief design officer Ewen Foster's studio drew a tri-deck profile that keeps the brand's low, purposeful stance at a much larger scale. The three decks give the volume for generous social spaces without losing the family look. It reads clearly as a Sunseeker despite the jump in size. That family resemblance matters to a brand whose owners often move up through several boats.

The layout spreads living space across the decks in the manner buyers expect at this length. Large glazing and open aft areas carry over the light-filled feel of the smaller Oceans. Full specification details are still emerging as the first hull takes shape. What is confirmed is a boat drawn to compete with established tri-deck superyachts on their own terms.

Five en-suite cabins for ten guests

The 134 accommodates ten guests across five cabins, each with its own en-suite. That count places it firmly in charter-capable superyacht territory, with the space for a full owner's suite and generous guest cabins. The tri-deck arrangement allows the owner's accommodation to be separated from the guest areas in a way smaller Sunseekers cannot manage. Crew quarters and service spaces are sized to match. At this length the owner gains the kind of private deck space smaller models cannot offer.

As a new model, the interior is being finished to order for its first owners. The layout follows current superyacht expectations, with distinct zones for entertaining and for private time aboard. The 134 is specified with twin MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines as standard, with an uprated 16V 2000 M97L option for owners who want more. Sunseeker quotes a top speed of up to 20 knots, in keeping with a displacement superyacht of this weight. A large 24,750-litre fuel capacity underpins a quoted range of up to 1,600 nautical miles at 10 knots. The emphasis is on quiet, long-legged cruising rather than sprint speed. Cruising economy, rather than a headline top speed, is the point at this size.

The engineering brief is different from the yard's planing boats. At 40 metres the priorities become range and comfort at a steady, quiet cruise. The standard and optional MTU packages let owners tune the balance between economy and pace. First-hull construction began with lamination in 2026, an early confirmation that the programme is under way.

For the owner stepping into a true superyacht

The 134 Superyacht is aimed at the owner moving up into full superyacht territory, quite possibly from a smaller Sunseeker. It offers the space and range for extended cruising and charter, with full crew accommodation, at a length where naval architecture and systems become serious undertakings.
