A smaller CRN with a big idea
J'Ade, known in the yard as the CRN 125, launched in 2012 as the seventh 60 metre boat the Ancona yard had built in this size band. At an overall length near 58 metres she is modest by CRN's flagship standards, yet she earned wide attention for a single clever feature. The idea at her core is a garage that floods to let a tender float in from the sea. That one move reshaped how the aft of the boat could be used.
The concept let the yard turn what is usually a closed storage space into a social area at the waterline. It showed that innovation at CRN was not tied only to length and volume. J'Ade has since become a reference point whenever builders discuss float in tender systems. Owners and designers still cite her when they weigh how to store and launch a large tender. For a boat of her size she has left an outsized mark on the yard's story.
Zuccon styling with a working stern
The exterior is another Zuccon International Project design, shaped in concert with CRN's own technical office and its Centro Stile. The profile is clean and fairly restrained, giving little hint from the side of the mechanism hidden in the stern. Four decks and a sub deck sit on a beam of around 10.2 metres, a set of proportions that keeps her nimble in port. The styling had to leave room for a large shell door on the port side without breaking the line of the hull.
That shell door is the visible clue to the garage system behind it. When closed it reads as part of the hull, and when open it turns the stern into an inlet for the tender and for swimmers. The aft beach area flows out from this space, with side stairs that double as swimming ladders once the stern door drops. It is a piece of design that earns its keep the moment the boat reaches an anchorage.

A loft feel above an aquarium
Inside, the work was a collaboration between Studio Zuccon, CRN and the owners themselves. The upper saloon uses floor to ceiling windows and sloping side walls to create the feel of a loft set under a mansard roof. The owner's wife chose Loro Piana fabrics and commissioned custom furniture from Fendi's Club House line, giving the rooms a personal stamp. The palette stays light so the sea remains the main event through the glass.
The main saloon holds a wet bar set above a built in aquarium, with a white Yamaha grand piano nearby. Wellness spaces include a gym and a green mosaic steam room, the latter placed up on the sun deck. The owner's suite comes with an office, a sleeping area facing aft and an enclosed balcony protected by a storm shutter. These touches give a 58 metre boat a sense of space that belies her length.
The floodable dock explained
The heart of J'Ade is a transverse float in dock reached through the port shell door. Crew open the door and flood the dock, and as the water rises the tender lifts off its chocks and is held steady by fixed fender poles. Two wave doors then close off the open sea so guests can board and step off in calm water. A high capacity pump can drain around 18,400 litres in under three minutes, so the boat can get under way again quickly.
The dock was sized around an 8 metre Riva Iseo, a tender that suits the style of the boat. Underwater lighting adds to the effect when the space is flooded at night. Power for the yacht comes from twin MTU engines in the 12V 4000 series, good for a top speed near 16 knots and a cruise around 14 knots. Range runs to more than 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, which covers a full Mediterranean season with ease.
Who J'Ade suits
J'Ade suits an owner who prizes a close connection to the water over sheer size. The floodable dock and the beach club make her ideal for anchorages where swimming and tender use fill the day. Her ten guest layout across a master and four cabins fits a family or a small group of friends. Owners who cruise busy coastlines will value how easily she moves in and out of port.
On the market she appeals to buyers who want a manageable CRN with a genuine talking point. Original commission
The project is reported to have originated with Ferretti Group founder and chairman Norberto Ferretti, who wanted the 58 metre for himself before she was sold to another owner ahead of completion.
