Launched in 2023 as a genuinely new model, the 580 reset expectations for the size. Exterior lines come from Filippo Salvetti, with interiors developed alongside the Ideaeitalia studio and the naval architecture handled by the Ferretti Group engineering department. The result reads as premium from the dock, with the sculpted glazing and long profile that mark out the newer fleet. Owners get a real taste of the full Ferretti world without stepping up to a 20 metre commitment.
Sleek glazing and a flybridge that overdelivers
Salvetti gave the 580 a leaner, more sculpted silhouette than the boat it succeeded, with large hull windows that pour light into the accommodation below. The flybridge is the headline. For an 18 metre boat it is unusually generous, offering a dining area, a wet bar and sunpads under an optional hard top that shades both the helm and the social space.
