The boat that started the GTX line

The GTX116 is where Pershing's sport utility idea began, and it remains the flagship of the range. Launched in 2022 as the first GTX model, it set out to prove that a Pershing could offer superyacht volume and beach-level living while still cruising at real speed. At around 35 metres it brought the brand into a larger class of crewed yachts with a fresh layout philosophy. Its success opened the door to the GTX80, the GTX90 project and the smaller GTX70. In effect it defined a second identity for the marque.

For the yard the 116 was a statement about where growth would come from. It answered demand for yachts that carry numbers in comfort without giving up the pace that the badge promises. First deliveries followed in 2024, and a steady run of hulls has gone to owners since. In the large fast-yacht class it competes with wide-body flybridge and coupe rivals from across Italy. It stands as the model that proved the GTX concept could sell.

Widebody with a Pershing face

The GTX116 keeps the low, purposeful Pershing nose while opening the body behind it into a full widebody form. The main deck uses the boat's 7.72-metre beam to create a large single-level living space that flows out to the cockpit. Folding terraces extend the deck outward at anchor, and a generous sportsbridge sits above. The stern carries a substantial beach club with sea-level access. The design keeps the marque's sharp identity up front while devoting the rest of the boat to volume and social space.

Built in composite, the 116 balances the demands of size, speed and structure through the Ferretti Group's engineering. Large glazing and sliding doors link inside and out, a theme that runs through the GTX range. A tender garage keeps toys out of sight and the decks clear. Finishes follow the contemporary Italian style the brand favours, with a wide choice of materials to order. The overall effect is a superyacht that still carries a Pershing's tension in its lines.

The GTX116 is driven by three MAN V12 engines of up to 2,000 hp each through waterjet propulsion, giving a top speed of around 34 knots and a cruise near 29 knots.
