Inari, Benetti's first 50m Oasis deck, delivers a beach club at 499GT
A beach club on a 50-metre hull
The Oasis Deck is Benetti's answer to the one thing owners keep asking of a smaller yacht: more contact with the water. Three fold-down bulwark terraces drop from the stern to wrap a pool and lounge, so the aft deck becomes a single open platform at anchor. The concept started on Benetti's larger boats. Inari is the first of the 50-metre B.Now line to get it.
The exterior is by British studio RWD, with naval architecture by Benetti. Inari carries up to 12 guests across six suites, though her owner took a five-cabin layout for 10, with the main-deck forward suite kept private. Floor-to-ceiling glass runs through the interior.
Why 499 gross tonnes matters
Inari measures 499GT, deliberately parked just under the 500-tonne mark. Above it, a yacht falls into a heavier band of crewing, survey and safety rules that add cost and complexity for the life of the boat. Builders design to stay under the line, and the volume Benetti finds within it is what makes a 50-metre feel bigger than the number suggests.
Steel hull, aluminium superstructure, twin MAN engines: the running gear is conventional and proven, not experimental. She cruises at 13 knots, tops out at 15, and carries 60,000 litres of fuel for a range of about 4,500 nautical miles at 10 knots. That is enough to cross an ocean on a planned passage, not just island-hop.
A proven platform, now delivering
Inari was commissioned in February 2023 and launched at Benetti's Livorno yard on 2 June 2026, with delivery to her owner set for this month. The order came through Divo Yacht. For a series boat, that is a normal three-year path from contract to handover.
For a buyer weighing a new build, a first-of-type that reaches the water on schedule is the reassurance that matters. The B.Now 50m now has a delivered Oasis-deck hull to point to, which turns a rendering into a reference. Benetti remains the largest yacht builder by volume, and the 35-to-80-metre range is where most of that volume sits.
