Benetti's 50m Perseverance goes to charter, then debuts at Monaco

Perseverance, a 2026 Benetti B.Now 50M Oasis, opened her charter book on 15 July and takes her world premiere in Port Hercule from 23 to 26 September. She carries 12 guests in six cabins on 500 GT, with 4,500 nautical miles of range. For anyone who owns or is buying at this length, she is the boat your weeks and your resale get measured against.

A 2026 hull that goes straight into the book

Perseverance was delivered this year and put on the charter market on 15 July, with a world premiere confirmed for the Monaco Yacht Show in Port Hercule from 23 to 26 September. She is a B.Now 50M Oasis, the 50-metre platform Benetti has been building out since the Oasis idea moved down from its larger hulls. RWD drew the exterior, Benetti's own team did the interior, and Pier Luigi Ausonio is the naval architect.

The accommodation is 12 guests in six cabins, with the owner's suite carrying its own study, and ten crew. She flies the Cayman flag. A boat that goes from delivery to a listed charter yacht inside a season is a boat whose owner intends her to earn, and that is worth knowing if you are pricing your own weeks in the same 50-metre bracket next summer.

500 GT on 50 metres, and what it buys

She measures 50 metres with a 9.2-metre beam and 2.6 metres of draught, and comes in at 500 GT. Twin MAN V12-1400 diesels give 1,400hp each for a maximum of 15 knots and 13 in cruise, and the range is 4,500 nautical miles on 60,000 litres. Stabilisers work underway and at anchor, which is the specification line that decides whether guests eat dinner at anchor or not.

The Oasis argument is that the aft end of the boat becomes the boat. Volume goes into a full-beam deck at sea level rather than into another interior lobby, and the tender programme runs off it. Perseverance is listed with jet skis, Seabobs, e-foils and a 16-metre Wajer as chase boat, which is a serious support vessel to put behind a 50-metre and tells you where the charter market has moved.

Six of a kind, and what that does to your numbers

YachtCharterFleet counts Perseverance as the sixth B.Now 50M Oasis available to charter. A model that reaches half a dozen charter hulls stops being a one-off and starts being a comparable, which cuts both ways for an owner. Brokers can now price a 50-metre Benetti week against five near-identical boats instead of arguing from a spec sheet, and that tends to hold rates honest rather than push them up.

The same logic runs into resale. A platform with a visible fleet and a visible charter record is easier to value and easier to sell than a singular hull nobody can benchmark, and it is also harder to sell above the pack. If you are choosing between a series 50-metre and something full-custom at the same money, this is the trade in plain terms: liquidity and a known number, against a boat that is only worth what the next buyer decides it is.
