The stepping stone that built the flagships
Before the Majesty 175 broke records, the 140 proved the yard could deliver a genuine tri-deck superyacht from composite moulds. She measures 43.6 metres with a beam of 8.3 metres, and her 360 gross tonnes put real volume behind the length. The structure is GRP with carbon fibre in the load paths, laminated entirely in Umm Al Quwain.
Naval architecture came from Massimo Gregori's Yankee Delta Studio, the same specialist who later drew the 175's hull, with Gulf Craft's in-house team handling the styling and interior design. The first hull was handed over on 12 December 2018 and shown to the public at the Dubai International Boat Show that season, where the model's mix of size and price drew immediate attention.
An owner's deck done properly
The owner's suite sits forward on the main deck, full beam, with floor to ceiling glass and a private fold-out balcony that swings open over the water at anchor. The bathroom carries an en suite Jacuzzi tub dressed in Onyx Costa Blanca marble, and the whole apartment separates cleanly from the guest circulation, so mornings stay private.
Guests take five further staterooms, bringing standard accommodation to twelve with configurations that stretch to fourteen. An elevator connects the decks, a fitting more common at fifty metres than at 43, and the 55 square metre main salon in walnut and leather gives the yacht a reception space that flatters the length. Up to ten crew keep the operation running from their own forward quarters.

Sun deck theatre
The sun deck is the 140's stage piece. A waterfall cascades from the hard top into the spa pool, two electrically retractable roof panels open the space to the sky in seconds, and the bar and dining area run aft under shade. It is a deck built for the Gulf's evening hours and for the Mediterranean's long afternoons alike.
One deck below, the upper deck holds the model's signature curiosity, a cigar lounge finished with preserved tobacco leaf panels, backlit so the walls glow amber after dark. Aft, fold-down bulwark balconies widen the cockpit, and an Opacmare Transformer platform at the stern hinges down into a beach deck and swim stair that brings the sea to the guests.
Twenty knots and ocean legs
A pair of 2,600 horsepower MTU diesels drives the 140 to 20 knots flat out, with an easy 16 knot cruise for repositioning days. Throttled back to 12 knots she covers 3,300 nautical miles, enough to run Dubai to the Maldives or the length of the Mediterranean without arranging fuel in between.
The composite hull keeps displacement modest for the volume, and with it the fuel bills and the draft. Owners get superyacht presence that still slides into mid-depth marinas and over the sandbars of the Gulf, and a supercharged air conditioning plant rated at 720,000 BTU per hour holds the interior at cellar temperature through an August in the Emirates. It is the specification of a boat engineered for its home summer, which is the hardest test an air conditioned interior faces anywhere.
What the market said
The 140 became the proof of concept for everything Gulf Craft now sells above forty metres. She demonstrated that a UAE-built tri-deck could stand comparison with the Italian semi-custom yards on finish, then undercut them meaningfully on delivery time. Follow-on hulls found owners across three continents, and the model seeded the client base that later ordered the 160 and 175. That spread mattered for resale as much as for pride, because a model with hulls on three continents has a liquid market when the time comes to move up.
For a buyer today the 140 occupies a sweet spot in the brokerage and new build conversation alike, a 360 tonne yacht from a SYBAss shipyard at a number the established names struggle to meet. Her successor, the Majesty 145, borrows her formula of main deck owner's quarters and maximum glazing, which tells you how well the original recipe worked.
Who it is for: An owner stepping into true tri-deck territory who wants flagship features, an elevator, a private balcony, real range, without paying northern European prices or waiting three years.
Guide price: Trade press reported a starting price around USD 16.5 million at launch, before options and specification.
