A new chapter for the yard

Seven Seas began life as project Y720 and joined the water in March 2022 before her delivery was celebrated in 2023. She stands as one of the four largest yachts Oceanco has ever completed, confirming the yard's firm hold on the hundred metre class. The build marked a fresh creative partnership for Alblasserdam, and the yard treated it as a flagship reference from the very outset. Wellness runs through the entire plan, from generous spa provision to expansive open air lounging on the upper decks. The atmosphere is deliberately designed to help guests slow down and reset.

Guest accommodation is arranged for fourteen across seven staterooms, served discreetly by a crew of thirty five. Salons are spacious and unhurried, scaled carefully to the yacht's very large volume. Materials are handled with the quiet restraint the studio has become known for over the years. The effect is architectural, a private retreat with the composure of a finely made building. Long, restorative stays aboard were plainly the guiding assumption from the first sketches.

Seven Seas has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with naval architecture developed by Lateral Naval Architects. She cruises comfortably with a range near 5,000 nautical miles, enough for long ocean legs between the world's marquee destinations. Twin MTU engines give her a top speed of around 18 knots with power to spare. The engineering brief prioritised quiet running so that the wellness theme carries all the way through to how she actually feels under way. Peace of mind was built into her as carefully as the joinery.
