The GTX range grows
Unveiled at boot Dusseldorf in early 2026, the GTX90 is the second-largest boat in Pershing's sport utility line, sitting between the GTX80 and the flagship GTX116. Its first hull launched at Fano in Italy in July 2026, with a global premiere set for the Cannes Yachting Festival that September. At close to 28 metres it brings serious volume to the GTX concept. The model widens Pershing's crossover offer just as the range is gathering pace. The 90 arrived barely a year after the GTX70 joined the line.
The GTX boats were created to blend performance with the space and comfort of a larger yacht, and the 90 pushes that idea further. It was drawn by Vallicelli Design in partnership with the Ferretti Group engineering department. Accommodation stretches to four suites for up to eight guests. The 90 reads as a natural step up for owners who love the GTX70 or GTX80 and want more room.
A deck in three zones
The GTX90 organises its main deck into three clear zones, with a sunbathing area aft, a hardtop-covered dining space amidships and a helm station forward. Two fold-out side terraces flank a large sunpad on the aft deck, dropping at cockpit level to widen the boat at anchor. That trick brings the combined outdoor surface to 37 square metres of usable space. The result is one of the most generous deck plans in the class. Guests can move from open sun to covered shade as the day changes.
The profile keeps Pershing's assertive bow and long glazing while carrying the taller superstructure of a sport utility yacht. Shade and seating are spread across the deck for full days at anchor. The terraces transform the stern into a waterside lounge when the boat stops. Underway the lines stay clean and purposeful.
Fold-out terraces open 37 square metres aft, and MAN power on waterjets makes a clean 35 knots.
Show kitchen and social saloon
A wide five-panel door links the cockpit to the main saloon, dissolving the line between inside and out. At the aft port corner sits a show kitchen with a bar counter, facing a formal dining table that seats up to eight. Forward of that, a central lounge is built around an L-shaped sofa for relaxed evenings aboard. A three-seat helm station with access to both side decks completes the main deck. The single flowing space is built for entertaining large groups in port and at anchor.
Below, the GTX90 offers accommodation for up to eight guests in four suites, made up of an owner's cabin, a VIP, a double and a twin. The layout is planned for comfortable living on longer cruises with family and friends. Large glazing and a considered material palette keep the interior bright and contemporary. Crew spaces are arranged to keep service discreet.
MAN power on waterjets
The GTX90 is powered by twin 2,200 hp MAN V12X engines coupled to twin Castoldi TurboDrive 600 HCT waterjets. Together they give a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of around 30. Waterjet propulsion suits the boat's shallow-draught, at-anchor lifestyle and makes for agile close-quarters handling. The set-up is tuned for smooth, confident cruising at everyday speeds.
A pair of Seakeeper NG18 gyroscopic stabilisers cut roll at anchor and underway for a steadier boat in most conditions. The larger GTX hull carries its volume with composure at speed. The waterjets allow the 90 to work comfortably in shallower water than a shaft-driven yacht of similar size. Everything is geared towards easy, comfortable time on the water. Draught stays modest for a boat of this volume, opening up shallow bays and beaches.
