The line above the lines

GC-Force sits at the top of Admiral's series offering, a family of full-custom megayachts drawn by the group's in-house Centro Stile and engineered for ocean crossing. The 73 is its flagship. The Italian Sea Group announced her sale in February 2023, brokered by Kitson Yachts, and followed with a keel-laying ceremony at Marina di Carrara later that year. By spring 2025 the hull had moved into outfitting, with delivery scheduled for 2027.

The platform is conventional where it should be and ambitious where it counts. Construction is steel with an aluminium superstructure across four decks, on a 73 metre hull with a 10.6 metre beam and 3.25 metre draft, for an internal volume of about 1,450 GT. Twin Caterpillar engines give a 15 knot maximum and a range of roughly 6,000 nautical miles at 10 knots, which puts both sides of the Atlantic within reach without refuelling.

Glass where bulwarks used to be

The defining exterior move is glass. Amidships the superstructure opens into double-height glazed panels, and the side decks have been removed on the accommodation levels so that interior spaces run out to the rail with nothing between the owner and the horizon. It is a decision borrowed from residential architecture, and on a hull this size it transforms the main saloon from a room with windows into a room made of view.

The profile itself stays elegant and long-limbed, with Centro Stile keeping the lines clean enough that the glass reads as architecture and never as a gimmick. Deck spaces are unusually generous for the length. The upper deck carries a cocktail bar opening to an exterior lounge, the sundeck adds its own bar and a pool, and a formal dining room connects to the aft terrace through sliding glass walls, so inside and outside merge in fair weather.

An owner's suite of 90 square metres

Accommodation follows the current thinking at the top of the market, fewer cabins and far more space in each. Six cabins host twelve guests, and the owner's suite alone measures around 90 square metres, an apartment-scale private domain that few yachts under 80 metres can offer. The interior is by FM Architettura, the Italian studio whose residential warmth has made it one of the most in-demand names in the sector.

Service is scaled to match, with quarters for a crew of around twenty. That ratio, nearly two crew per guest cabin trio, is what separates a megayacht that merely looks the part from one that runs like a great house. Galleys, pantries and circulation are laid out so that service appears when wanted and disappears when it is time for privacy, the kind of detail a buyer only appreciates after a season on board.

The beach club as destination

At the waterline the GC-Force 73 gives over serious volume to wellness. The beach club includes a gym, a sauna and a massage room, and it opens to the sea through two fold-down balconies, with an extendable swim platform aft. On a yacht designed for long autonomous cruising this matters, because the beach club becomes the daily landing point between the boat and the water, the place a family actually lives at anchor.

Above it, the deck plan spreads dining and lounging across every level so that a full complement of guests can find separate corners without ever crowding one another. A fold-down balcony off the interior adds a private perch over the sea. It is a layout built for owners who cruise for weeks at a time, with spaces sized for real use and weather protection thought through for more than one season of the year.

Timeline and the buyer's read

Project Primo's progress has been public at every stage, from the sale announcement through keel laying to the start of outfitting in April 2025, with the yard integrating navigation and technical systems ahead of a delivery now scheduled for 2027. The hull itself changed hands in February 2025, before she ever touched the water, with Edmiston acting for the buyer and Kitson Yachts for the seller. A new build that finds a second owner mid-construction is its own kind of endorsement, and this one traded as a private listing without a public campaign.

For the buyer, the GC-Force 73 represents the middle path in Admiral's custom offer. It carries genuine megayacht volume and range, an interior from a first-rank studio and a distinctive glass architecture, while staying within a series framework that de-risks engineering and price against a blank-sheet one-off.
