Built to Stay Under 24 Metres on Purpose
The A80new was featured in Boat International's February 2026 issue, reviewed by Charlotte Thomas, with the article published 10 March 2026. Official dimensions are LOA 23.98 metres, beam 6.95 metres, draught 1.74 metres, and displacement 78 tonnes, built in fibreglass. Twin Volvo Penta IPS 1200 pod drives are standard, giving a top speed around 19 knots and a cruise speed around 16 knots on Quantum sourced spec figures cross checked against the yard's own range page; a more powerful IPS 1350 option is reported to add roughly two knots at both ends.
Boat International's own performance figures from the review are more specific: 50 litres per hour at a 10 knot cruise, which works out to 5 litres per nautical mile, and 89 litres per hour at 12 knots. Fuel capacity is 8,100 litres and freshwater 2,000 litres, giving a published range of at least 850 nautical miles at 10 knots on the yard's own figures. The hull is described as meeting RCD Category A rules for unrestricted offshore cruising, and Arcadia states the hull shape itself is inspired by the smaller Sherpa 80, the yard's other current flagship.
