Majesty 111

The Majesty 111 was the boat that changed how the world read this brand, the first of the Phathom Studio generation, unveiled at the Dubai International Boat Show in 2023 with a glass-bottomed spa pool over the foredeck lounge and an interior that won at the World Yachts Trophies the same year. She packs six staterooms into 34.1 metres and 240 gross tonnes, and she became a finalist at the Boat International Design and Innovation Awards for best new series.

The reset boat

Gulf Craft handed the 111 to Phathom, a young Dutch studio, with a mandate to redraw the brand for an international buyer. The answer arrived at the Dubai International Boat Show in 2023, clean vertical bow, deep glazing, pale contemporary interiors, and none of the ornament the region's yachts were known for. The naval architecture beneath was developed with the specialist bureaus Soyaslan and Profjord.

The industry noticed immediately. The 111 took the interior design prize at the World Yachts Trophies in 2023 and stood as a finalist at Boat International's Design and Innovation Awards in 2024, both for her interior and for best new series. For a 34 metre production yacht from Umm Al Quwain, that level of critical attention marked a genuine before-and-after moment.

A glass floor between pool and lounge

The 111's party trick sits at the bow. The foredeck carries a spa pool with a glass bottom, positioned directly above the sheltered lounge below, so light falls through the water into the seating area and swimmers float over the heads of their guests. It is the kind of detail owners show off on the first tour and never tire of.

The rest of the exterior follows the same logic of stacked, connected spaces, a flybridge with dining and sunbathing zones, wide side decks, and an aft deck that flows into the salon through full height glass. Phathom's layout puts the visual drama where people actually gather, which sounds obvious and is surprisingly rare at this size. It is also why the boat photographs so well from a tender, the terraces and glass read as one continuous composition.

A glass-bottomed pool over the bow lounge and six staterooms at 34 metres, the boat that reset the brand in 2023.

Six staterooms, five crew, 240 tonnes

Twelve guests sleep in six staterooms, a master, a VIP, two doubles and two twins, a census that lets three generations or three couples and their children cruise together without negotiation. It is the sleeping plan of a forty metre compressed into 34, and it is what charter managers notice first. Five crew work the boat from separate quarters, a workable ratio that keeps service present and payroll sane.

The 240 gross tonne interior stays under the thresholds that complicate ownership while delivering the salon width and cabin volume of a larger class. This is the recurring Majesty equation, composite structure spending less of the hull on itself, and on the 111 it underwrites a six cabin plan that most European competitors cannot draw at 34 metres.

MAN power, family manners

Twin MAN V12-1900 diesels give the 111 a 20 knot top speed and a relaxed 12 knot cruise, with range in the order of 1,300 nautical miles from just over 20,000 litres of fuel. Those legs cover the Gulf circuit or an Adriatic season without planning around fuel. The semi-displacement hull rides shallow at 1.72 metres full load, keeping the lagoons and sandbank anchorages open.

These are numbers tuned for how a 34 metre actually lives, season hops along a coast, the odd overnight passage, day speeds that outrun a charter schedule. The engineering wraps the familiar range virtues around them, GRP that never corrodes, electric equipment replacing hydraulics across the newer builds, and systems dimensioned for tropical service.

The template everything since has followed

Walk the range today and the 111's fingerprints are everywhere. The 112 Terrace evolved directly from her platform, the 100 Terrace carries her design language down the size ladder, and the Nomad 101 extended the same Phathom collaboration into the explorer line. One model rebuilt the brand's design credibility, and the order book has compounded on it since.

For a buyer, the 111 now reads as the proven original of the modern generation, with delivered hulls in service and the awards on record. She suits an owner who wants the fresh design without first-hull risk, delivered hulls have followed the show boat into service, and her record is the plainest evidence that Gulf Craft's pivot toward European taste is working.

A chi si rivolge: An owner who wants the modern Phathom look with delivered-hull certainty, six cabins for family cruising and a crew of five keeping life simple.
