A new line for slower, greener cruising
The Infynito 90 launched a distinct family within Ferretti Yachts, separate from the classic flybridge boats. It made its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2023 under the motto further than you can sea. At 26.97 metres overall the yacht is drawn around distance and calm rather than top speed. The concept came from the group's Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari together with the engineering department.
The Infynito 90 is built for long, quiet passages and extended stays aboard. Its tri-deck arrangement and 7.33 metre beam create the volume of a much larger yacht. The line is Ferretti's answer to owners who want reduced emissions without giving up comfort. It sits apart in the catalogue as a statement of where the brand sees cruising going.
A tri-deck shaped for the horizon
Filippo Salvetti drew the exterior with a tall, purposeful profile closer to an explorer than a sportboat. The tri-deck layout stacks generous social areas over a wide hull for stability on long runs. A main-deck all-season terrace forward can be enclosed for use in cooler weather. Photovoltaic panels are worked into the superstructure as part of the design rather than added on.
The deck spaces are built for time at anchor. An extensive open aft cockpit, a second enclosed lounge on the upper deck and the forward terrace give guests varied places to gather. Wide side decks and a beam of 7.33 metres make movement around the yacht easy and safe. The styling signals the yacht's long-range purpose from a distance.

Volume and natural materials
Ideaeitalia handled the interior, using the yacht's beam to create large, open living spaces. Accommodation runs to four or five cabins for eight to ten guests, served by four heads. Green materials feature throughout, including natural and bamboo fabrics, regenerated leather and water-based paints. FSC-certified laminated teak is used across the exterior areas.
The layout is planned around living aboard for longer spells. The main deck and upper lounge give indoor and sheltered spaces for all conditions, while the forward terrace adds a bright forward room. Guest cabins below make use of the wide hull for comfort. The material choices aim to lower the yacht's footprint without a drop in finish.
Solar power and a lithium energy bank
The Infynito 90 carries the group's F.S.E.A. Package, short for Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture. Photovoltaic panels on the superstructure produce up to 7.3 kilowatts, feeding a 120 kilowatt-hour lithium energy bank. That energy bank runs the yacht in hotel mode for up to eight hours at anchor with zero emissions. Ferretti quotes an 80 per cent saving on fuel across typical use from May to September.
Twin MAN V12 engines at 1550 or 1,800 hp give a modest top speed of about 22 knots. The efficiency shows in range, with about 500 nautical miles at a 15 knot cruise and up to 1200 in economy mode at 12 knots. An 11,500 litre fuel tank supports those distances. The whole drivetrain is set up for economy over speed.
The owner who wants distance
The Infynito 90 suits an owner drawn to longer passages and quiet anchorages, with a lighter footprint. It rewards those who cruise slowly and stay aboard for weeks rather than dashing between marinas. A professional crew runs the yacht on extended trips. The sustainability package appeals to buyers who want their choices to reflect newer thinking.
In the market the Infynito 90 stands among a small group of eco-focused long-range yachts near 27 metres. Its case rests on the F.S.E.A. Technology and the tri-deck volume, backed by the Ferretti Group name. As the founder of a new line it gives the brand a foothold in slower, greener cruising. That position is likely to grow as owner priorities shift.

Что сообщают владельцы и экипажи
Exceptionally quiet for the size, even close to full speed
Sound readings stayed below 60 dB(A) at almost full speed during Motor Boat & Yachting's sea trial; at 20 knots with doors closed the bridge measured 51-52 dB(A), the main saloon and VIP stateroom 62 dB(A), and the owner's stateroom 67 dB(A).
Phil Draper, Motor Boat & YachtingSteering and visibility praised, the forward lower cabin was not
The fly-by-wire steering was light and responsive and the high, well-forward bridge gave surprisingly good views over the foredeck roof, but the forward lower cabin was described as rather dark and squashed, with minimal natural light.
Phil Draper, Motor Boat & YachtingNo independent long-term owner report exists yet
The line only launched in 2023 and deliveries are still recent, so every account of living aboard traces back to press sea trials rather than an owner's own extended cruising experience.

Сильные стороны и что учесть
Сильные стороны
- Genuinely quiet runningTwo independent testers (Motor Boat & Yachting, Yachting Magazine) both measured or described noise levels well below what a planing yacht of this size normally produces, even close to full speed.
- Zero-emission hotel mode at anchorThe 120 kWh lithium bank fed by up to 7 kW of solar can run the yacht's hotel loads for roughly 8 hours with no generator running, a genuine and independently confirmed capability rather than a marketing claim.
- Deck and interior volume well above the segment averageYachting Magazine measured over 100 sq m of open-air living space (nearly 50% more than the segment average) and over 140 sq m of interior (over 25% more).
На что обратить внимание
- Forward lower cabin is a genuine weak pointMotor Boat & Yachting's own tester called it rather dark and squashed with minimal natural light, a direct trade-off of the tri-deck layout and forward terrace above it.
- No independently verified running-cost track recordSea-trial fuel figures exist (published by Motor Boat & Yachting and YachtBuyer) but no owner has yet published real-world consumption or maintenance costs over a full season.
- Stabilisation and safety extras add to the priceThe Seakeeper gyros, Vector Fins and Watchit anti-grounding system on the tested hull are options rather than standard equipment, so the as-tested price runs well above the base-spec figure.
