Sanlorenzo SL110 Asymmetric

The SL110 Asymmetric is the current thirty-three metre model in Sanlorenzo's planing range, the size where the asymmetric layout starts to feel like a superyacht inside. It carries ten guests across a full-beam main deck and can top 27 knots. It is the SL that bridges the sporting boats below and the flagship above.

The upper mid-range

The SL110 Asymmetric sits high in the planing SL line, above the SL96 and just below the flagship SL120. At 33.5 metres it holds the size where interior volume grows enough to feel like a proper superyacht while the boat keeps its fast planing character. It is the model for owners who want more space and range than the smaller SLs give without stepping up to the largest hull. The asymmetric main deck remains the heart of the design.

Built in composite by the Yacht Division and made to individual order, the SL110 varies in detail from hull to hull. Its place in the range is the confident upper-middle choice, generous inside and quick on passage. It answers buyers ready for ten-guest capacity in a still-agile boat.

Volume and view

Zuccon International Project drew the exterior, keeping the low SL stance over a longer, more imposing hull. The single-side-deck layout frees the main-deck saloon to reach the fuller beam, and the low port glazing brings the sea close to the room. The extra length gives the designers more space to play with on deck. Owners can choose the flybridge open or under a hardtop to suit their cruising.

The foredeck and aft cockpit are large enough for real gatherings at anchor, and a beach area at the stern brings life down to the water. The proportions stay elegant despite the size. The whole boat reads as calm and precise. Daylight and beam are what the SL110 sells on the main deck.

Ten aboard in comfort

Inside, the SL110 sleeps ten guests across five cabins and carries a crew of five. The width freed by the asymmetric plan goes into the main saloon and a full-beam owner's suite, both of which feel generous for the length. Interiors follow the quiet, residential style set by Piero Lissoni, with natural materials and long, open sight lines. Owners tailor the finishes closely within that language.

The layout keeps a strong connection between the saloon, the cockpit and the sea, so the day moves easily between inside and out. The larger hull allows more separation between owner, guest and crew spaces than the smaller SLs manage. It is a boat built for longer stays aboard with family and friends. The sense of scale inside is its clearest reward.

Fast and flexible

The SL110 offers a choice of engines, with twin MTU 16V2000 M96 units for a top speed near 26 knots or the more powerful M96L of around 2,637 hp for about 27 knots. Either way it behaves like a large sports flybridge, quick to cross open water when the weather allows. At a gentler cruise it runs efficiently over longer distances. Fuel is carried at around 12,100 litres to support real passages.

The underwater hull stays symmetrical, so the asymmetric deck plan does not affect handling or sea-keeping. Sanlorenzo keeps the engineering proven and serviceable, in line with the wider range. The engine choice lets an owner tune the balance of pace and economy to their own use. It is a package built for capable, confident cruising.

Who the SL110 suits

The SL110 Asymmetric suits the owner ready for ten-guest, five-cabin capacity in a boat that still runs fast and handles like a sports yacht. It is well matched to longer seasons and larger groups aboard, with more separation of spaces than the smaller SLs allow. For a buyer trading up within the range, it is the step just short of the flagship. It gives superyacht volume without leaving the composite Yacht Division.

Against rival flybridge yachts in the low thirties, its argument is the reordered main deck and the daylight and beam it brings. For a long-standing Sanlorenzo owner it is the natural move up. It rewards those who want space and speed together in one hull.

Сильные стороны и что учесть

Сильные стороны

  • Genuine extra interior volume from the asymmetric hullOffsetting the port and starboard gangways, rather than running a full walkway down each side, is claimed by Sanlorenzo to add about 15% more usable interior volume than a symmetric hull of the same length. This is corroborated independently, not just repeated as yard copy, by Boat International's and Robb Report's descriptions of a noticeably wider full-beam owner's suite and saloon than a conventional 110-footer would have.
  • Real indoor-outdoor connection at anchor, not just a marketing renderThe lowering starboard bulwark, sliding gunwale, bow terrace with plunge pool, and pivoting aft platform concealing the tender/jet-ski garage are each described independently across multiple outlets (Boat International, Robb Report, Yacht Style and Barche Magazine's hands-on test piece), which is a stronger signal than a single yard press release.
  • Genuine planing performance for a yacht this wideTwin MTU 16V2000 M96L engines (2,637hp each) give a confirmed 27-knot top speed and roughly 23 to 24 knot cruise, figures matched across two independent sources (Sanlorenzo's own UK dealer spec page and Barche Magazine's sea trial), which is genuinely quick for a full-beam widebody design.

На что обратить внимание

  • Losing a true port-side walkway is a real operational trade-offYachting Magazine's on-the-water review of the closely related SL106A, which shares the same Asymmetric design language, reported that captains and crew were initially skeptical about losing a conventional side deck for line handling. Sanlorenzo's fix reroutes crew up over the bridge deck and back down to the foredeck rather than restoring a straight walkway, and requires longer fender lines to port, an inherent compromise carried through the whole Asymmetric line, including the SL110A, not something unique to one hull.
  • No transparent pricing from the yard itselfSanlorenzo does not publish a price on its own SL110A model page. The one figure in circulation, roughly EUR 18 million before options, comes from dealer Florida Yachts International, not an official yard quote, and boats at this level are normally sold with extensive costly customization, so a real buyer has no firm public number to start from.
  • Headline range only holds at slow speedThe quoted 1,250nm range is achieved at a stated economical speed of about 10 knots, per Sanlorenzo's own dealer spec sheet. At the 23 to 24 knot cruise the boat is actually built to run at, real-world range is considerably shorter and is not separately published, a fundamental tradeoff of a heavy, 140-tonne full-load planing hull driven by 2,600hp-plus diesels rather than a slower displacement design.
  • Zero ownership or resale track recordFirst deliveries only begin in 2026 across a run of six hulls, so there is no reliability, maintenance or resale history for this specific model yet. A buyer is relying on Sanlorenzo's experience with earlier Asymmetric models, the SL90A and SL106A, not data on the SL110A itself.

Практическая информация

PriceNo price published by Sanlorenzo. Dealer Florida Yachts International quotes a starting price of about EUR 18 million before custom options; a dealer estimate, not an official yard figure.
Crew / running costsSanlorenzo's own spec sheet lists a crew of 5 (other secondary sources cite 6 to 7, likely counting different cabin configurations). No running-cost figures are published for this model. Superyachts of this size and power are conventionally budgeted around 10% of purchase price per year for crew, fuel, insurance and maintenance, an industry rule of thumb, not an SL110A-specific figure.
CharterNot currently chartering. YachtCharterFleet has a listing page for the model but showed zero active SL110A charter listings at time of research, consistent with deliveries only starting in 2026.
How to order / lead timeOrdered through Sanlorenzo's dealer network, such as Simpson Marine or Florida Yachts International. The first series is a run of six hulls, with deliveries beginning in 2026, per Florida Yachts International.
Comparable / competing modelsYachtBuyer's rivals comparison lists the Gulf Craft Majesty 111 and Arcadia A115 (both sleep 12 across 6 cabins, more than the SL110A) and the Ocean Alexander 35P and Riva 112 Dolcevita Super (same 10-guest/5-cabin capacity) as the closest competing planing motor yachts.

Для кого: An owner who wants ten-guest superyacht volume and full planing pace in one composite SL.
