Sunseeker's first 94 Yacht launches in July, two more in build
Hull one reaches the water, sold off a 2024 concept
The first Sunseeker 94 Yacht is due to launch this month at the British builder's yard ahead of sea trials, then head straight to an owner who committed shortly after the model appeared as a concept at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival. The 28.6-metre boat carries up to ten guests across five en-suite staterooms, with separate quarters forward for a crew of four. Hulls two and three are already in build, so the line is running before the first boat has touched salt water.
That sequence is the part a prospective owner should read closely. A production model that sells its opening hull on a rendering and puts the next two into build is a model whose early delivery slots are already committed. Design Unlimited inside, and a menu of owner choices
Sunseeker gave the interior to British studio Design Unlimited, working to a brief the yard calls Intentional Design for Effortless Connection. The idea is to strip out the small daily decisions of life aboard, carried through a palette of earthy browns and warm creams in natural leathers, cottons and wool. Owners pick between an eight or ten guest layout, and between a main-deck master or a dual-master arrangement lower down.
The choices run past decor. Sunseeker lists optional upgrades that include advanced navigation stations, wet bar facilities and refrigeration specified for tropical climates, so an owner can tune the boat to a home cruising ground. Andrea Frabetti, chief executive of Sunseeker International, has said the 94 Yacht 'exemplifies the concept of a luxurious home away from home.' For a production yard, that spread of options is the semi-custom pitch in a 94-foot hull.
The numbers a buyer actually weighs
Power comes from twin MTU 10V 2000 M96L engines, good for a top speed near 26 knots and a 10-knot cruise that stretches range to roughly 1,255 nautical miles. Humphree X-Series interceptors handle stabilisation and trim. The quiet headline is a shallow running draft of about 1.9 metres, which opens thin-water anchorages that heavier displacement boats in the class cannot reach.
Read together, the package points at an owner who wants a crewed boat sized for shallow bays and shorter passages rather than ocean crossings. The 94 sits below Sunseeker's 100 and the new 134 flagship, and its job is to carry the crew-operated, semi-custom formula into a length a first-time superyacht owner can handle.
