Three hulls, one signature

In May 2023 The Italian Sea Group and the brokerage IYC announced the sale of three new 70 metre Admiral GC-Force megayachts to one family, with deliveries planned in consecutive years beginning in 2026. The trade press called it a record transaction, and it was certainly among the largest single commitments ever made to an Italian yard. Whatever the commercial terms, the message to the market was unambiguous. A sophisticated repeat buyer had examined the platform and ordered it three times.

The deal also said something about the yard's capacity. Building three 70 metre megayachts in overlapping schedules demands dock space, supply chain depth and workforce that very few builders anywhere can commit, and Marina di Carrara's 120,000 square metre site with its two long dry docks is one of the few places in the Mediterranean where the promise is physically credible. The first unit has since moved into outfitting, holding the published sequence.

The GC-Force platform at 70 metres

The GC-Force 70 shares its design DNA with the 73 metre flagship of the line. Naval architecture and styling both come from the group's Centro Stile, and the line is built in steel and aluminium for ocean-crossing service. The look follows the family formula, long clean lines, large open deck spaces and what the yard describes as an abundance of glass, so interior spaces stay connected to the sea from every level.

Keeping design in-house is a deliberate part of the offer.
