The base platform is the wallypower50 that debuted at boot Dusseldorf in January 2024, the angular little sister of the 58 with the same stealth geometry and the brand's signature terrace tricks. Moving to outboards stretches the platform to 15.4 metres, trims draft to 1.2 metres and swaps the pods' refinement for velocity and service simplicity, the trade American and island-hopping owners keep voting for.

Two engine menus, both fast

The standard installation is four Mercury Verado V10 425 outboards, good for 48 knots flat out, a 34 knot cruise and 320 nautical miles of range. The option is where it gets serious, four Mercury Racing V8 500R units lifting the top end to 54 knots with a 36 knot cruise, which makes the 50X quicker than its bigger 58X sibling and one of the fastest things Wally has ever series-built.

Fuel capacity of 2,800 litres is generous for the size, so the speed converts into geography, Miami to Bimini in under an hour and a half of running, or a full Balearics day without arithmetic.
