The Oasis Deck replaces the traditional enclosed beach club with a tiered open-air lounge and an integrated glass-fronted pool. The studio's restraint lets the materials and the light do the work throughout the accommodation.

Living spaces flow towards the water at every opportunity, in keeping with the Oasis theme. Large windows and low sightlines keep the sea present from the main saloon. The owner's accommodation is treated as a private retreat within the volume. The whole interior reads as a quiet counterpoint to the theatrical aft deck.

Compact platform, steady ride

The 34M rides on a displacement hull with a beam of 7.9 metres, giving it a stable base for its size. Twin MTU diesels drive the boat to a top speed in the mid-teens of knots, with a comfortable cruising figure below that. This is a coastal and island-hopping platform rather than an ocean-crossing explorer. Stabilisers keep the ride settled at anchor and under way, which matters given how much life happens on the open aft deck. The hull is designed for coastal passages and long stays at anchor in place of crossing open water.

Gross tonnage sits around 275, which is healthy for a yacht of this length. The folding Oasis Deck is the key engineering feature, requiring careful structural work to open the hull sides safely.
