The 60 metre reinvented

Sixty metres has long been a sweet spot for Amels, and the 200 is the yard's modern answer at that length. It replaced the earlier 60 metre thinking with a taller, more vertical superstructure that stacks four full decks. The extra height buys interior volume closer to a 65 metre yacht, without the cost and berth demands of a bigger hull. For an owner it is a way to gain space and headroom while keeping the boat inside a friendly size band. The design sits alongside the newer metric-named Amels 60 as a classic 60 metre in the family.

The pitch is efficiency of space. Every deck earns its keep, from a beach club at the waterline to a skylounge and helipad up top. A central staircase and a full-height lift tie the decks together, so guests and less mobile owners move easily between levels. The 200 is offered as a semi-custom build, so the interior can be tailored while the naval architecture stays fixed and proven. Buyers get a known platform with room to make it personal.

Heywood volume with a vertical stance

Tim Heywood gave the 200 long, slender forward sections and a tall, confident superstructure. The bow is fine and slices cleanly, while the raised decks above create the volume the design is built to deliver.
