Hermes أسسها في 1837 Thierry Hermes في باريس كصانع أعنة وسروج للخيل. وهذا الأصل في جلود الفروسية لا يزال يشكل حرفة البيت وقيمه اليوم. وعبر أجيال نما لواحد من أكثر البيوت الفاخرة احتراما في العالم، ومشهور بالسلع الجلدية والحرير وأكثر بكثير. والشغل المفصل كان جزءا من Hermes من البداية تماما، لما كان يصنع الأعنة حسب الطلب. والبيت حمل هذا التقليد المفصل عبر تاريخه كله.

والشركة تظل مملوكة بشكل مغلق ومدافعة بشراسة عن حرفتها ومعاييرها. وسمعتها قايمة على جودة موادها ومهارة حرفييها. وهالسمعة هي اللي تجيبها لأي طلب مفصل، ومنه الشغل لليخوت. وHermes ما يلاحق الحجم في هذا الميدان، ويخلي هالمشاريع نادرة وشخصية. والنتيجة تجهيز باستثنائية حصرية.

خدمة Sur-Mesure

Hermes يعرض خدمة مفصلة، تنعرف بـ Sur-Mesure، تصنع طلبات مفردة أبعد بكثير من كتالوجه العادي. وهالخدمة تاخذ طلبات خاصة تتراوح من حقايب سفر مفصلة الى ما يسميه البيت مشاريع أكبر. ومن هذي المشاريع الأكبر تجهيز ديكور يخت أو طايرة خاصة كاملا. وبالنسبة ليخت هذا يقدر يعني تطبيق جلد Hermes وحرفته في الديكور كله. وكل طلب ينتطور بشكل فردي مع العميل.

وهذي مو مهام سريعة، لأن البيت يذكر ان مشاريع اليخوت والطايرات تقدر تاخذ لين ثلاث سنين من البداية للنهاية. وهذا الجدول يعكس مستوى الحرفة والطبيعة المفصلة للشغل. والعميل اللي يطلب تجهيزا من هذا النوع يشتري انتباه حرفيي الدار كاملا. والخدمة تحول مواد Hermes لبيئة كاملة. وهي التعبير الأقصى عن تقليد البيت المفصل.

حرفة بلا تنازل

شغل Sur-Mesure يسحب من نفس الحرفيين والمعايير اللي في سلع البيت الجلدية ومنتجاته الثانية. وشغل الجلود اللي خلى Hermes مشهورا يقدر ينطبق على المقاعد والتلبيسات في اليخت كله. والمواد تنختار وتنشتغل بالمستوى الدقيق اللي ينعرف به البيت. ولأن كل مشروع فريد، الحرفة شخصية جدا ومضبوطة عن قرب. وهذا شغل مفصل في أعلى قمة السوق.

وتركيب هذي المواد في بيئة بحرية يتطلب عناية، لأن اليخت مكان متطلب على الجلد والقماش الفاخر. وخبرة البيت الطويلة مع جلود الفروسية المتينة تغذي كيف يقارب التآكل والاستخدام. وكل عنصر ينصنع حسب الطلب مو ينسحب من المخزون. والطلب عن العملية والعلاقة بقدر ما هو عن الشي النهائي. وهذا اللي يحدد تجهيزا مفصلا حقيقيا.

ديكور ما له مثيل

ديكور يخت من Hermes من أندر الأشياء اللي يقدر مالك يطلبها. ويجيب هوية واحد من أكثر البيوت حصرية في العالم الى سفينة خاصة. وبالنسبة للمالك، الجاذبية ان تكون عنده بيئة مصنوعة بالكامل حسب الطلب من حرفيين مشهورين. وهذا تجهيز لللي يملكون أصلا منتجات البيت ويبون يعيشون داخل عالمه. والديكور يصير خلقا شخصيا عميقا.

ولأن الشغل مفصل بالكامل، يعكس رغبات العميل نفسه كما تفسرها الدار. وما في ديكوران من هذا النوع متشابهان، وكل واحد ياخذ سنين عشان يتحقق. والنتيجة بيئة تحس مصنوعة مو مؤثثة. وبالنسبة لنوع معين من الملاك، هذا المستوى من الانتباه الشخصي هو المقصد كله. وهي فخامة تحددها الندرة والحرفة.

قمة الحصرية

Hermes يجلس في قمة عالم التجهيز الفاخر تماما، حيث السعر شبه غير ذي صلة. والتجهيز المفصل الكامل من البيت طلب نادر محجوز لعدد صغير من العملاء. ومكانته قايمة على قرنين تقريبا من الحرفة وسمعة لا تماثل. والملاك اللي يختارونه يشترون الحصرية بقدر ما يشترون أي مادة. والاسم وحده يحط الديكور في فئة خاصة به.

وبالنسبة لهالملاك، القيمة في امتلاك شي ما يقدر أي أحد ثاني يملكه تقريبا. والطلب يربط اليخت ببيت بإرث وهيبة هايلين. وسنين الشغل المطلوبة تزيد الإحساس بالندرة. وHermes يعرض مستوى من التجهيز المفصل قليل يقدرون يوصلونه وأقل منهم يماثلونه. وهو يمثل قمة طبقة المنتجات والفخامة.

The fabrics an owner can actually buy

There is a far more accessible route into the same aesthetic. Since 2011 Hermes furnishing fabrics and wallpapers have been produced and distributed with the Italian textile house Dedar, and in July 2026 the range was still sold through Dedar's showrooms. It runs to illustrative and graphic patterns, plains and semi-plains, wallpapers, decorative panels and an outdoor line.

For a yacht that changes the calculation completely. A designer can specify Hermes cloth for drapery, cushions, a headboard or a set of wall panels through a normal furnishing-fabric channel, with sampling, metreage and lead times that behave like any other specifier's fabric. It gives an owner the house's hand without the three-year commission.

The fire code, and the one advantage of bespoke

The IMO 2010 Fire Test Procedures Code has been mandatory since 1 July 2012 for upholstered furniture, curtains and bedding, and Part A of the REG Yacht Code has applied since January 2019 to commercially used yachts of 24 m and over, requiring inherently fire retardant upholstery and suspended textiles in unsprinklered spaces. Hermes publishes no blanket marine certification.

A bespoke commission is the one situation where that is straightforwardly solvable. Nothing is being taken from stock, so the specification can name the test standard, the certificate and the responsible party before any hide is selected. The mistake is treating it as a detail for later. Write it into the commission at the point the brief is agreed, because a fitted leather panel cannot be swapped.

What it costs

Hermes publishes nothing about a commission. There is no price list for one, no indicative range, no published minimum and no public example of a completed yacht interior with a figure attached. What it does price openly is the furniture: the United Kingdom listing read in July 2026 runs from GBP 6,130 for a small Les Trotteuses occasional table to GBP 60,710 for the Reeditions J.-M. Frank two-seater sofa, which is the only published anchor of any kind. Any number an owner reads in the press is a guess. What can be said with confidence is that this is priced on artisan hours in French workshops at a house whose recurring operating margin was 41 percent in 2025.

The practical approach is the one used for any bespoke build. Break the commission into defined packages, price each one before the next is authorised, and hold a contingency that assumes the scope will grow. It always grows, because the pleasure of the process is the reason owners commission this in the first place.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

It suits an owner already inside the house, building a new yacht with three or more years to delivery, who wants the interior to be an object in its own right, and who enjoys the commissioning as much as the result. For that person nothing else in this directory competes, because nobody else offers it.

Everyone else has better options. An owner refitting, an owner on a schedule, an owner who wants documented marine specification from the start or an owner who simply wants very good leather should be talking to Poltrona Frau's Interiors in Motion division or to a specialist marine outfitter, and should reach for the Hermes fabrics through Dedar when he wants the house's hand in the room.
