Baglietto introduced it as the latest addition to a line that had been running since 2022. The first hull was launched at La Spezia in July 2025 and cruised through the port at its float-out. At 34.5 metres it stays below the thresholds that trigger heavier crewing and survey rules, which keeps running costs in check for a private owner. Baglietto describes it as bringing the feel of a much larger yacht to a 35 metre platform.

That size choice is central to the model's appeal. An owner moving up from a smaller boat gains full displacement comfort without committing to a 40 metre-plus vessel. The DOM115 measures 298 GT across three decks, a strong figure for its length. The number reflects the yard's focus on usable interior within a modest hull. It reads as a serious yacht built to a manageable scale.

Where it sits in the DOM family

The DOM line is Baglietto's contemporary displacement range, drawn by Studio Vafiadis and named after the Latin word for home. The DOM115 is the smallest of the three current models, below the roughly 40 metre DOM133 and the 46 metre DOM155 flagship. All share a design language built around interior volume and natural light. The shared look ties the smallest hull visually to the flagship above it. The DOM115 brings that thinking to owners who want the concept in a smaller boat.

The line has been in production since 2022 and has become one of the yard's steadier sellers. Each model keeps the sub-500 GT positioning that suits private ownership. Exterior by Studio Vafiadis

Stefano Vafiadis shaped the exterior, giving the DOM115 a low, horizontal profile with wide side windows and generous deck areas. The steel hull carries an aluminium superstructure, a common pairing that keeps weight down high up. The beam of 7.8 metres opens out the main deck and the flybridge. Large glazed surfaces bring the interior close to the water and the light. The window line runs low along the hull to keep sightlines open from inside.

Outdoor space is a clear priority on this model. The layout gives owners a sun deck and a bathing platform at the stern. A shallow 2.4 metre draft lets the yacht work close inshore and into quieter anchorages. That reach into shallow water widens the choice of overnight spots along a coast. The result is a yacht built to be lived in outdoors as much as within.

Volume where it counts

Baglietto handled the interior design and naval architecture in house. The DOM115 accommodates up to ten guests across five suites, with the owner given a full main-deck cabin. A single owner's cabin on the main deck is a layout usually reserved for larger yachts. The 298 GT volume translates into ceiling heights and social areas that feel drawn from a larger class of yacht. Materials and layout are open to the owner within the platform.

Crew and service areas are worked in without eating into guest space. Up to seven crew can be carried, enough for full private service at this size. A team that size can keep the yacht running through a full season. Tender and toy stowage is planned around the compact hull. The interior aims at long, comfortable cruising rather than short hops.

Easy pace, easy running

Twin MAN diesels of 1,182 hp each drive the DOM115 to a top speed of about 14.5 knots, with efficient displacement cruising below that. Range runs to roughly 2,800 nautical miles, enough for extended coastal and island programmes. The MAN units are a well-understood choice that keeps servicing straightforward. Hybrid propulsion has been signalled for later hulls in the series. The engineering favours quiet, economical passage-making over outright speed.

This is a yacht for an owner who values comfort and volume at a size that a small crew can handle. It suits Mediterranean and similar cruising where anchorages matter more than fast transits.
