The Oceano 39 opens Mangusta's displacement range at just under 40 metres, below the 44, 46, 50, 52 and the 60 metre flagship. The first hull launched in 2023 and further units have followed quickly. Alberto Mancini shaped the exterior with the Overmarine office on the interior. Where the larger Oceanos are built in steel, the 39 uses a composite hull with a carbon fibre superstructure to stay light.

The more powerful 16V 2000 M96L option lifts top speed to about 18 knots and fast cruise to around 16. Either way, range at an economical 10 knots is close to 2,050 nautical miles.
