Part of a bigger bet
No Stress is not a one off experiment, it is the opening move in a programme. BluE is Rossinavi's name for its sustainability focused build line, and No Stress is the first delivered monohull under it. Chief operating officer Federico Rossi called it only the beginning, pointing to the technology being optimized further and reaching its fullest expression in the yard's Sea Cat project, a hybrid electric catamaran that followed under the same programme. The two hulls share the underlying hybrid electric and AI energy management thinking even though their forms differ completely.
For a buyer, that context matters. No Stress is not an isolated prototype whose lessons vanish with the hull. Rossinavi is actively iterating on the same underlying propulsion and monitoring architecture across newer builds, which in principle should mean better parts support and software refinement over time rather than an orphaned one off system. It is also a reason to ask the yard directly what, if anything, has already been upgraded or superseded since No Stress was delivered in 2023. Being first in a product line can mean being first in the queue for the improvements that follow, as much as it means carrying the risks of being first.
Motores y sistemas
| Engines | Two MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesels, twin screw, roughly 2,600 to 2,650 hp each depending on source rounding, confirmed by Boat International, SuperyachtTimes, NAU Yachts and YachtBuyer. |
|---|---|
| Hybrid system | Two electric motors drawing from generators and a battery pack, with AI managed energy monitoring across five selectable operating modes including electric only, diesel, hybrid and at anchor harbour modes. |
| Generators | Caterpillar C7.1 units rated at 261 bkW, confirmed on two independent sources. |
| Battery pack | 396 kW bank, rated for roughly 8 hours of power at anchor, confirmed on two sources. |
| Stabilisers and thruster | CMC zero speed and underway stabilisers, confirmed on two sources; a CMC bow thruster rated at 110 kW is reported on a single source and not independently corroborated. |
| Watermaker | An Idromar MC5 Duplex unit, reported on a single source and not independently corroborated. |
| Speed and range | Cruising speed of 15 knots is consistent across five or more sources. Maximum speed is reported between 20.5 and 21 knots depending on listing. Range is 5,300 nautical miles at 10 knots with a 10 percent reserve, agreed by three sources; a single outlying listing states the same range at 15 knots, which is almost certainly a transcription error and is not used. |
| Tankage | 61,340 litres of fuel and 12,000 litres of fresh water, agreed by two sources. |
| Draft | Reported between 2.15 metres, the yard's own press release, and 2.4 metres, a brokerage sale listing, a genuine disagreement with no clear tiebreaker found. |
Lo que cuentan armadores y tripulaciones
No independent owner account exists yet
She is a private full custom yacht delivered in September 2023 and resold quietly within the brokerage market a few months later, too recent and too private for an independent owner or guest account to have surfaced.
Yotters research deskCOO Federico Rossi on the BluE launch
We are very proud to launch our very first BluE project. No Stress is a hybrid vessel characterised by a strong sporty attitude. It is a high-performance super yacht with dual fuel: diesel and battery. Artificial Intelligence allows you to enjoy the electric experience on board to the fullest.
Federico Rossi, Chief Operating Officer, Rossinavi, via official press releaseDesigner Enrico Gobbi on the hull form
The study of the hull openings and the superstructure was fundamental, to have a yacht with sporty lines without compromises, giving the interiors the maximum landscape view.

Lo bueno y lo que conviene vigilar
Puntos fuertes
- Real engineering behind the hybrid claimTwin MTU diesels paired with dual electric motors, a battery bank and AI energy management across five selectable operating modes, not a token hybrid badge.
- A consistent, credible range figure5,300 nautical miles at 10 knots is confirmed by three independent sources, suggesting genuine transatlantic capability rather than a brochure number.
- A proven hull and design pairingEnrico Gobbi and Team for Design's ninth collaboration with the yard, not an unproven design relationship.
- A shallow draft for her sizeReported between 2.15 and 2.4 metres depending on source, which aids access to shallow anchorages typical of a fast displacement profile.
A tener en cuenta
- A first of programme hull with no track recordNo multi year reliability or resale value history exists yet for the BluE hybrid system, since she is the first delivery under it.
- Hybrid machinery adds servicing complexityTwin generators, a battery bank and an AI controller mean a narrower pool of qualified technicians and parts than a conventional diesel yacht, a real consideration for an owner cruising outside major service hubs.
- Electric only performance data is thinA claimed 9 knot fully electric cruising speed comes from a single broker only and was not independently confirmed; a buyer should ask the yard for verified figures rather than rely on the brochure claim.
- Key specifications disagree by listingMaximum speed is reported between 20.5 and 21 knots and draft between 2.15 and 2.4 metres depending on the broker, meaning published data should be checked against the builder's own specification sheet before survey.
Información práctica
