Motori e impianti

EnginesTwin Caterpillar 3516B diesels, 1,573 hp each, twin screw. Cruises at 14 knots, 15 knots flat out - modest for a 2011 60-metre and typical of the displacement category she was built for.
ConstructionSteel hull, aluminium superstructure, teak deck, classed to Lloyd's Register and built to full MCA commercial-yacht standard.
Tonnage984 GT by Boat International's own directory figure; a Superyachts.com summary rounds it to 998 GT. The difference is rounding, not a real discrepancy.
Fuel and water107,000 litres of fuel reported by YachtCharterFleet's spec sheet; freshwater capacity is not published on any broker listing checked.
RangeNot verified. YachtCharterFleet states up to 3,000nm at a 12-knot cruise; Boat International's own directory entry states 4,800nm. The two disagree by more than half and CRN's own model page does not give a figure at all, so no range is reported here until a third source settles it.
StabilisersAt-anchor (zero-speed) stabilisers, standard for a yacht of this size and era.
Guests and crew12 guests in 6 staterooms. Crew numbers vary by source between 14 and 16 depending on the charter configuration quoted.

Cosa riferiscono armatori ed equipaggi

Cosa convince e cosa va valutato

Punti di forza

  • A genuinely awarded interiorThe 2012 Nautical Design Award for motor-yacht interiors went to this boat specifically for Alexandre and Cristina Negoescu's Art Deco-inflected work with CRN's own design department, not a generic yard credit.
  • An unusual noise-cancelling system in the sleeping areasCRN developed the active-noise system with Videoworks and the Polytechnic University of the Marche specifically for the owner's cabins - a piece of real engineering, not a marketing line, and still uncommon on yachts this size.
  • A beach-club stern and a folding owner's terraceThe stern door converts to a private beach platform at the waterline, and the owner's suite carries a terrace that folds out 90 degrees over the sea - both genuinely distinctive for a 2011-era design.

Da valutare

  • Modest performance even for a displacement yacht14 knots cruise and 15 knots flat out was unremarkable even in 2011 and reads slower again next to newer 60-metre-class boats with hybrid or higher-output propulsion.
  • Published range cannot be trusted without asking the yard directlyBroker listings disagree by more than 1,500nm on cruising range, which matters to anyone planning an Atlantic or long island-hopping season on her.
  • A 2011 hull now on her third name and third owner cycleRepeated resale and renaming is not unusual at this end of the market, but a buyer should weigh the scope of the stated 2026 refit against what a newer-platform 60-metre now offers for similar money.
