Offen zur See
The used SX76 market: what a resale buyer actually gets
Sanlorenzo had already sold eight SX76 units at the model's Cannes Yachting Festival launch in September 2018, a full year before the first hull was delivered, per Boat International, so the line started with a backlog rather than a slow ramp-up. The first deliveries followed in 2019, then 2020 and on through at least 2023, with the model still in active production. That leaves a fairly small but steady resale pool: brokerage sites typically show somewhere between 7 and 10 pre-owned SX76s listed worldwide at any one time, spanning 2019 to 2026 build years. Asking prices on those used listings run from around 3.85 million euros for a 2021 hull up to 5.1 to 5.9 million euros for 2025 and 2026 boats, with the broader market average sitting near 5.3 to 5.4 million euros. A near-new example can appear with startlingly light use, one 2025 hull was listed with only 360 engine hours, effectively a turn-key boat rather than a broken-in one, and priced accordingly at the top of the range.
The spec sheet is not uniform across hulls, which matters more on a used SX76 than the brochure suggests. Cabin count varies by owner order, with two, three and four cabin layouts all having been built, so a buyer comparing two similarly priced hulls may be comparing genuinely different boats below deck. Engine power is not fixed either, an earlier hull turned up on the market with lower-power Volvo Penta units where boats from 2023 onward are more commonly specified with the current 900hp units, a real echo of the engine-option shift noted above and worth confirming against the engine plate rather than the listing headline. The beach club shows up on most but not all used listings, so it should be treated as a line to verify rather than assumed standard. None of the listings surveyed disclosed engine hours as a matter of course, so a pre-purchase survey and a direct hour-meter check matter more here than on a model with a longer, more standardised used market.
Motoren und Technik
| Engines | Sanlorenzo's own current fleet page lists twin Volvo Penta IPS3 1200 units at 900hp each, 22-knot top speed. Barchemagazine's 2019 sea trial of an earlier hull tested a different factory option, twin Volvo Penta IPS1050 units; the model's engine option has evidently been updated since that test, which is why older reviews and current listings do not match. |
|---|---|
| Fuel and water tankage | Sanlorenzo's current page lists 4,350 litres fuel and 1,250 litres fresh water; Barchemagazine's 2019 trial boat carried the same 4,350 litres of fuel and a close 1,300 litres of water, suggesting tankage has stayed consistent even as engine options changed. |
| Sea-trial performance (2019 IPS1050 hull) | 22 knots top speed at 2,350rpm, a 12-knot cruise at 1,500rpm giving a 520-nautical-mile range, and fuel burn from 96 litres/hour at economy cruise to 299 litres/hour at full speed - all measured first-hand by Luca Sordelli for Barchemagazine. These figures describe the older IPS1050 hull, not the IPS3 1200 currently offered, and should not be quoted as current performance. |
| Displacement | 60,000kg light, 67,000kg full load, per Barchemagazine's 2019 trial. |
| Design team | Concept by Luca Santella, exterior by Zuccon International Project, interior by Piero Lissoni, naval architecture by Lou Codega - per Robb Report's Cannes debut coverage. |

- A genuinely social main-deck layoutSordelli's trial describes the entire main deck as one open space integrated with the stern, with the galley moved to the bow, a circular dining table and an 18 square metre beach club at water level - an unusually social arrangement for a 23.75m boat.
- Traditional portholes over expanses of glassThe design deliberately keeps smaller windows rather than chasing the all-glass look common on rivals, which Sordelli frames as a considered choice rather than a compromise.
Worauf zu achten ist
- Short range on the tested configuration520 nautical miles at a 12-knot cruise, as measured on the 2019 IPS1050 trial boat, is modest for a crossover intended for real passages; a buyer should confirm current range on the now-standard IPS3 1200 engines directly with the yard, since Yotters found no independent trial of that configuration.
- Pricing found is seven years staleThe only price found, EUR 4,000,000 excluding VAT, comes from Barchemagazine's 2019 coverage of an early hull and should not be treated as a current asking price.
Praktische Angaben
| 2019 test-boat price (historical, not current) | EUR 4,000,000 excluding VAT, per Barchemagazine - this described a 2019-spec hull with the now-superseded IPS1050 engines and should not be quoted as today's price. |
|---|---|
| Current engine option | Twin Volvo Penta IPS3 1200 (900hp each), per Sanlorenzo's own fleet page - supersedes the IPS1050 option tested in 2019. |
| Debut | Shown at the Cannes Yachting Festival, per Robb Report. |
| Not published | Current new-build price, resale prices and any independent sea trial of the current IPS3 1200 configuration. |
